Adzuki beans are a small bean that is cultivated throughout East Asia and the Himalayas. They are to be found in a variety of colours, although the red adzuki beans are the most well-known. They are well-known as having a number of health benefits which include heart health, weight loss and improved digestion and a decreased susceptibility to diabetes. Some say it reduces the incidents of frequent urination at night. Their advantage is that they are easily incorporated into a variety of dishes. Adzuki is also known by two other names-Azuki or Aduki.
